Nikk’s Picks Kitchen Organization Ideas
It’s Week 3 of our organization extravaganza! Have you been using any of my ideas? Bought any products I’ve suggested that have been game-changers? This week we are tackling kitchens!!! They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, so what is your heart looking like? Is it disorganized, organized chaos, lol? I’m here to help: )
cabinet storage shelf
Can you ever have enough storage? I feel like this is a constant struggle; NEED MORE STORAGE! These shelf racks will literally double your storage inside of your cabinets. You can use these for your coffee mugs, plates, bowls, so many options!
spice rack organizer
If you must choose only 1 of this week’s Nikk’s Picks, THIS IS IT!!! My dear friend Jane gave me this as a house warming gift & it is seriously ridiculously GOOD! If you’re lucky enough to have one of those cool spice pull out drawers, skip ahead. For the rest of us, this will completely change your spice world! It is completely adjustable/expandable to fit your kitchen cabinet & this is a Must-Have!
box organizer
How do you store your ziploc bags, your aluminum foil, wax paper, etc? Are those boxes all stacked on top of each other? We are slowly transitioning to reusable baggies however, there is still a need for many of y’all to have these items in your kitchen. Enter this box organizer shelf. It comes in different sizes, so check your shelves & the sizes of your boxes before ordering.
Ziploc bag organizer
This one if for all my mamas of little kids & mamas of kids that are still packing their lunches. There are so many sizes out there now which is great but how many boxes of ziploc baggies is too much? This bamboo storage organizer is a great, space-saving solution
wire baskets
We renovated our kitchen last April & we were lucky enough to put in a pantry space with pull-out drawers. Pro-Tip: if you ever re-do your pantry, splurge for the pull-out drawers, they are insanely amazing! I digress…I also bought several wire baskets for our pantry. I use them for our dry vegetables (potatoes, onions, garlic), for kid snacks, my snacks, if you are a Costco shopper, being able to dump all those items into a basket & then recycle that box; it is very satisfying: )
Bottle Loft
OK, full-disclosure, I haven’t purchased this yet, but it looks pretty cool! These are magnetic strips that you can attach to the top of the inside of your refrigerator and then use for bottle storage (adult or kid lol). I’d love to know if any of y’all have tried these out: )
Magnetic knife block
Some of y’all may remember the super cool set of gold & black knives I bought for our new kitchen. The knives are fantastic, the knife block they came in, terrible! The wood has separated & the knives were falling all over the place. I have now replaced it with this amazing butcher block magnetic knife block! It is super cool, looks great on the counter & my knives are so pretty & on display: )
I hope you are feeling inspired to tackle your kitchen next! Another easy place to start is simply going through your pantry & refrigerator & getting rid of all your expired food. Another Pro-Tip: go through your food storage drawer/shelf. Make sure all of your containers have a lid that fits, if not, get rid of it! Happy organizing y’all!
